Hot Tub Moving Services in South Florida
Moving a hot tub begins with accurate information about the unit and the route between its current and new locations. Rest & Relaxation Moving/Delivery LLC provides hot tub moving services in Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade counties when the item, access conditions, and project requirements can be handled safely.

Information Needed Before Scheduling
Hot tubs vary considerably in size, weight, construction, and installation. Before an estimate can be prepared, provide the manufacturer and model when available, exterior dimensions, approximate dry weight, clear photos of every side, and both addresses.
Photos should also show the entire access route. Include gates, fences, steps, narrow side yards, patio edges, slopes, turns, landscaping, overhead obstructions, and the surface between the hot tub and the moving vehicle. Measure the narrowest point along the route rather than estimating it.
Prepare the Hot Tub Before the Move
The unit must be completely drained and dry before moving. Disconnect electrical, plumbing, gas, or permanently installed components as applicable. Those connections should be handled by the customer or an appropriately qualified service provider before the moving crew arrives.
Remove loose accessories and pack covers, steps, lifters, rails, and other detachable items separately. Follow the manufacturer’s preparation instructions and keep hardware labeled for reassembly. Clear furniture, planters, hoses, and other obstacles from the route.
Access and Site Evaluation
A hot tub that fits through one location may not fit through another. The pickup and delivery routes both need to be evaluated. Important details include gate width, steps and thresholds, sharp turns, wall clearances, ground firmness, patio elevation, and the distance to an appropriate vehicle-access point.
Some installations may require fence removal, construction work, lifting equipment, or another specialty provider. We do not assume that every hot tub or location can be handled the same way. Additional evaluation may be required before a move is accepted or scheduled.
Moving a Hot Tub to a New Property
Confirm the destination location before moving day. The receiving area should be clear, accessible, and prepared to support the unit according to the manufacturer’s specifications and applicable requirements. Placement, utility connections, filling, testing, and installation services should be arranged separately unless they are specifically included in the agreed scope.
If the hot tub is part of a larger household move, identify it when requesting your residential moving estimate. Specialty-item details should be reviewed separately from the general household inventory.
Labor-Only Hot Tub Moving Help
If transportation is being handled separately, labor-only moving help may be available depending on the hot tub and site conditions. Provide information about the vehicle or trailer, loading height, tie-down plan, equipment, and who is responsible for transportation.
Other Heavy and Specialty Moving Services
Rest & Relaxation Moving/Delivery LLC also provides piano moving, safe and vault moving, and other heavy-item moving services. Each project is reviewed according to the item, weight, dimensions, access, and destination.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the hot tub need to be empty before moving?
Yes. It should be completely drained and dry before the moving crew arrives.
Do you disconnect or reconnect electrical and plumbing lines?
Arrange for the appropriate qualified provider to disconnect and reconnect utilities unless those services are specifically confirmed in the agreed scope.
Why are access photos and measurements required?
The hot tub’s dimensions alone do not determine whether it can be moved through a location. Gates, turns, steps, slopes, surfaces, clearances, and vehicle access must also be evaluated.
