Before You Disconnect the Television
- Check the manual. Look up approved lifting points, stand removal, packing orientation, and any handling restrictions. Thin panels can be damaged by pressure or twisting.

Can I move a TV without the original box?
Yes, if a suitable replacement kit and supports are available for the model. Share the size and model before the crew arrives so the packaging can be planned. A blanket alone does not provide the same protection as fitted packaging.
Can I lay it flat in a car?
Do not assume that a short trip makes a flat position safe. Follow the model’s transport instructions. If the vehicle cannot accommodate the packed TV in the required position, use a different transport arrangement rather than forcing it to fit.
What should I do on arrival?
Inspect the carton and television before setup. Keep packaging until you have checked its condition. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions about acclimation after temperature or humidity changes before connecting power. Photograph any damage and contact the mover promptly if needed.
